Create a 3D Head Model
Students were required to create a base mesh in Autodesk Maya using primitive shapes to construct a character’s head topology, based on their character designs. Accuracy when replicating a design or reference is of ultimate importance when creating a 3D character as is anatomical understanding and clean and constructive modelling practices. This assignment teaches students the core skills required for character production.
