3d set

At this point, students have explored the production pipeline by creating a prop that fits their character’s narrative. They were tasked with creating the world in which their character lives. Once again, paying attention to the shape language, colour palette and texture. The students had to construct a 3D set that only focused on what is in the frame, in other words, they would not need to model any assets/props that will either be behind the camera or out of view. This allowed focus on a limited number of props that would contribute to a strong narrative.
